Our Mission

The Widows Home of Dayton is a nonprofit organization, carrying forward the benevolence of its founders, since 1872, to meet the needs of its residents. The Home fosters and promotes the peace and welfare of the residents by providing them with highly competent, responsive and compassionate care in a dignified manner that meets or exceeds their expectations and those of their families. The Home serves primarily elderly men and women who have a continuing need for physical and psychological support in facilities that are cheerful, home-like, clean and safe, compatible with high-quality care.
